Center for Behavior-Based
School Safety™
The Center for Behavior-Based School Safety, established by the National Center for the Prevention of Community Violence™ (NCPCV™), aims to offer a comprehensive and effective strategy for addressing school safety and preventing violence on campuses.
Through its school safety assessments, crisis response planning, and provision of critical incident planning resources, the center is committed to intervening in the progression of violence before it escalates into a tragic event affecting students, teachers, and staff.
With a focus on all potential sources of violence within school premises, the Center for Behavior-Based School Safety™ conducts on-site premise and policy reviews, delivers best-practice training, and provides technical assistance to address these concerns effectively.
Team members of the Center for Behavior-Based School Safety™ collaborate with school officials and key community stakeholders to establish a violence-free environment and equip all involved parties with the necessary preparedness to respond effectively in crises or critical incidents.
