COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Where safer schools start.
Green Zone™ gives students, educators, and families a shared language for respectful behavior — creating climates where everyone can learn, grow, and feel safe.
WHAT IS GREEN ZONE™
A common language for kindness — in every classroom, hallway, and home.
Green Zone™ sets clear, color-coded expectations for how we speak to and treat each other. It gives students a simple framework they can actually use — and gives adults the tools to reinforce it consistently.
Easy to adopt and adaptable to any environment, Green Zone™ is helping schools, businesses, and communities build a more civil world — one interaction at a time.
The goal is simple: keep everyone in the Green Zone. When behavior slips, the language gives everyone — students and adults alike — a way to recognize it and get back on track.
MEET THE GREEN ZONE™ FRIENDS
A growing team, leading the way.
Green Zone™ is brought to life through a cast of characters kids can trust — each one focused on a different part of staying safe, starting with Ollie and Ellie.
Ollie leads the way in Green Zone™ — a behavior-based youth safety program for elementary-aged students (K–5) that builds the knowledge, language, and confidence kids need to recognize unsafe situations and seek help from a trusted adult.
Through stories, repetition, and age-appropriate practice, Ollie helps students move from awareness to action — not just knowing what to do, but being ready to do it.
Ellie joins Ollie as the Green Zone's expert on firearm safety — helping children understand, in calm and age-appropriate terms, what to do if they ever encounter a firearm: Stop, Don't Touch, Leave the Area, Tell a Trusted Adult.
Ellie's lessons reduce fear while increasing confidence and preparedness, so safety feels like something kids can practice — not something to be afraid of.
NOW LAUNCHING
Ollie the Owl is coming to pilot schools this fall.
Ollie the Owl is launching with a select group of pilot schools for the 2026–2027 school year — and sponsors are helping make it possible.
Become a Pilot School
Pilot schools receive full access to a comprehensive, ready-to-use program — and play a founding role in shaping a national initiative.
Sponsor a School
Your sponsorship equips students, educators, and families with the tools to prevent accidental firearm injuries — with logo placement, social recognition, and inclusion in program impact reports.
CORE SAFETY LESSONS
What Children Learn
Four clear, memorable steps children can follow in real situations — taught by Ollie and reinforced by educators and families.
These simple steps reinforce responsible decision-making and awareness — building habits children carry for life.

WHY IT WORKS
Consistent. Adaptable.
Built for the real world.
Green Zone™ works because it gives everyone — students, teachers, parents, and administrators — the same language. When expectations are shared and consistent, behavior follows.
Students stay with Green Zone™ from kindergarten through high school graduation, building habits and relationships along the way. Through the program, they form connections, develop emotional support networks, and learn to self-regulate in ways that serve them for life.
It's adaptable to any environment: schools, neighborhoods, homes, and businesses. Wherever people interact, Green Zone™ applies.
IN THE COMMUNITY
Green Zone™ in youth detention centers.
Green Zone™ reaches beyond traditional school settings. The Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center and the Prescott Lakes Parkway School use the program throughout their facilities — because the need for a common language around behavior doesn't stop at the schoolhouse door.
Detained youth experience higher levels of stress and anxiety than their peers. Green Zone™ helps staff and students communicate and process those emotions in a structured, respectful way — reducing conflict and supporting the appropriate development of young people in difficult circumstances.
"Our youth and teachers discuss the Green Zone™ every morning. It has become integral to effective communication for juveniles and staff — part of the culture in detention."
— Daniel Femp, Juvenile Detention Manager, Yavapai County Sheriff's OfficeTAKE THE NEXT STEP
